Course Description

Allergic reactions can occur suddenly and can be life-threatening. Anyone is susceptible to allergic reactions and anaphylaxis, even if they have no diagnosed allergies or have not experienced an incident before.

This course provides learners with the knowledge needed to recognise, respond to, and manage allergic reactions and anaphylaxis.

The course covers the correct identification of symptoms, the safe and timely administration of adrenaline autoinjectors (including EpiPen® and Anapen®), and appropriate positioning of a casualty.
